Kusu Island + 16th Birthday

In the midst of preliminaries, comes Sta's "short getaway". My birthday was on the second of August. How do you remember? Realise it is a week before Singapore's National Day. There you go! Anyways, your girl here turned officially sixteen.

If you read my Instagram post, you will know that sixteen (personally), is not "sweet" or whatsoever. Its not the "oh sixteen! lets hold a big party woohoo!" kind of celebration. This isn't like in the movies or drama shows. In fact, it was a special time for me to enjoy nature, and have a bonding session my family members. At least I cherished it more that way.

So... My mom came up with a splendid idea: to take a ferry to Kusu Island! Originally, we planned to drop by St. John's as well. But due to certain circumstances, we couldn't. Oh wells, it was still better than nothing. It was worth the ride.
