I have been seeing many people cosplay throughout the years. I never get a chance to experience how cosplaying is like. Firstly, purchasing or making costumes can be really costly. Secondly, one has to get his/her wig, miscellaneous like the wig brush, stand, hair care solution and gel. Lastly, time might not necessarily be on a cosplayer's side. There's a need to maintain the wig, even trim it when needed and how can we forget... MAKE UP to look good! A lot of work and effort put into from a cosplayer, don't you think? I honestly admire their passion and determination.

This year, I FINALLY GOT A CHANCE TO "JOIN THE CLUB". My friends and I are going to dress up and become different characters. I chose a vocaloid, Gumi because c'mon, as a first timer, I wanted something that's of my reach. Something simpler and easy to grasp onto. I decided to imitate her outfit from the music video "A Momentary Trip", I absolutely adore that song!
Some of my friends are going to be cosplaying as characters from Sword Art Online, Tokyo Ghoul, Kuroko No Basuke etc etc.
Anyways, let me stop writing for once and post the pictures... NOW!

How I felt about my first ever, and probably the one and only cosplay:
It feels very cool to be part of a dreamy community. But will I want to do it again? Maybe, maybe not. If there is any character(s) I am fond of in the future from any anime or music, I will consider it.
Feelings aside, I thought I did a pretty good job in planning my steps for the whole procedure. I set a budget that does not exceed over SGD 100.
If you can see, the black waist coat vest I wore was sewn by my godmother. *Applause to her*. The white top underneath, along with my Scottish print skirt were purchased from Carousel (an app that helps one buy/sell goods). The leggings are from a H&M outlet. And green wig from e-bay (online shipping). You see? Most items, aside from the wig are re-reusable. It did not cost a bomb. That was what I was aiming for after all!
The overall AFA was alright, the spacings between each booths were just right. We only get a stamp on our hands when we leave. The music wasn't too loud, or so I thought? Which means no "earthquake".
HAHAHAHAHA.
