Before I go on to the post: Could you please take some time to answer the question placed on the poll vote corner (which is at your left side). Just simply select a few and vote, it would mean something to me! Thank you for reading.

I decided to post a series of my newly created hashtag #HappinessCP. From now on, I would love to post something optimistic and motivational for y'all. Every post related to it will come out at any moment, any day, any time so you may say its random. If you have Instagram, whoever you are...you could hashtag me to say hi or something. Mine is @caliciousypalette_ It will make my day and I will make yours. (Ehem! Chances are tight for someone to actually do that, fat hope Cal /talks to myself/). ;'D
However, that doesn't stop me from being myself, the imperfect person with flaws. If you get what I meant.
I would really like to thank my mother for being the pillar of strength, teaching me how to be wise. Giving me the wisdom and to think good. Despite me being a monster sometimes, she still cares and I freaking appreciate it more than anything.

Living in a technologically advanced city that has progress throughout the years... I find that the things present here are taken for granted sometimes. We often look for something better, totally overlooking things and blessings that are already there.
The inner-voice within, or more onto the egoistic side says "We need more, we want more...this is not enough, we could live better".
Chances are, we mislead ourselves by further thinking about negative aspects.
This brings in the downside to many things. We always ask for something more, we get unhappy, we destroy the current contentment we have. Simple?
This is quoted from one of my previous previous blogpost: "And MOST humans are weird, whatever goodness they have, no matter how great things are...there is this little side of them that is unsatisfied. Or what should I say, sometimes we want more. And more. And so forth. Isn't it exhausting?". If you've yet to stepped upon this quote, I assume you haven't read the post? If you want to, here it is...when I was feeling sort of um..negative.
WHAT DOES THE TERM HAPPINESS MEANS TO ME? WHAT OR HOW SHOULD I BE HAPPY WITH? Asking myself this, keeps me into yet another soul-searching. Let me number the amount of things I ought to be grateful for:
1) I find this topic meaningful: Check out here for more. It's yet another interesting topic from the website I visit frequently, called "Tiny Buddha".
2) We are actually complete! I came upon that realization just recently. I mean look... there are loving parents, cousins, aunt and uncles for me. No matter how hot-tempered, imperfect or ridiculous I get sometimes, I have them and their acceptance and love is all that matters. Sometimes I feel guilty for not treating them good and all...but I will keep trying in order to have basic self-control, because I believe I will get there somehow throughout practicing. If someone thinks he/she lacks something within.. I would say "no, we are all given in a way...". Complete means living life to the fullest, right now, in the present.
3) There are convenience over here. Especially living in a city like Singapore, people sometimes, tend to overlook the basic things here like smartphones, internet, rice cooker (hehe), multi-ethnic food and clothing, easy access to vehicles (taxis, buses etc). Be thankful for those man! Be thankful. We aren't living in someplace where internet is slow, or worse...no connectivity at all (though its great to experience life like that sometimes...). AND this might be out of point, having to use much technology has a price to pay as well, we all get lazier. So its better to have a balance between nature and man-made items.
4) Many of us had probably seen this quote before. Just want to put it here anyways. It goes something like "A cup is half filled with water. One can choose to see it in such a way that it is half filled or half empty." This defines both positive or negative thinking. When we get criticized for instance, how do we deal with it? Feel free to think on any scenario.
5) See beauty in things. I learned that just recently (okay maybe a few months ago this year). You see how people are so different from each other, be it their thoughts, actions yadda yadda? One thing I can conclude: GOOD. WE ARE LABELLED AS THE WELL-ROUNDED CHARACTERS, just like Earth..which is shaped round as well. Life will actually be boring if we are the same, repetition is boring. Its like we have the common goal and "boom!", done and shutting down. No excitement, no beauty, just a straight line.
6) No one is perfect. Easy to say, hard to accept sometimes. We expect this day to go like how we want it to be... we expect people to return back our favors... we want someone to behave differently... we set very high goals for ourselves... we need to achieve that goal in an instant... we need things to go smoothly... Guess what? Things will still go as they are. Accepting reality is hard sometimes, but we can do it. Its not like we can't, anyways. If someone can, cuse' me sir we are all humans after all.
7) We are breathing naturally, why do we really need to feel the need to use force to stop it sometimes, when it might probably have a 'expiry' date on its own. Yes stress, hopelessness, loneliness (name me any other bad feelings). Because of that, some people took away their lives. Surprisingly, I can understand that situation. Because... well despite me being positive right now, there are actually times I faced the lowest of the lowest, damn emotions.
We all have the times when we are like that, actually. Saying "stay strong" isn't really effective, don't you think? The greatest person to control those feelings has got to be only us. Not our closest friends, our kin person. At the end of the day, we are the "bestest" friend to ourselves, we talk our way through. And I believe in having a reason upon why we are born in the first place. Take difficulties as challenges, conquer them.
8) Have we ever considered our breaths, how we can simply walk, how we can see things... listen to nature etc. All these are essential for us, especially breathing, eating, drinking and sleeping. These things are overlooked, so there's got to be some self-awareness and mindfulness going on there huh.
9) Let time heal itself, and came upon our own understanding of certain things, and people. Let me see... sometimes we tend to wonder if one's actually good or bad, whether things we do are alright. Then there are mistakes made by us, regretting later. That's tiring.
We don't know how our futures will be, where we will end up due to circumstances. Or what should I say especially at this adolescent age. ME SURELY WANTS TO GET A GLIMPSE OF THE FUTURE. BUT NO. There can only be interpretations, but not 100% future reality. Therefore, we know we shall just concentrate on the current moment we are living now. Rest from thinking too much.
Leads me to another point... and also the last one for the post.
10) Step by step. Slow and steady. Don't panic terribly. This, I am still learning how to control. When we want to do things and finish them in a very fast way... we end up making lots of careless mistakes, or not learning and putting in new knowledge into out heads. For me, the issues lie on me thinking multiple thoughts at once, which led me to have problem finding where to start from. Hence, confusion comes in and I end up doing nothing, then getting extremely moody.
Aha! 10 daily steps for our road to happiness and love!
Stay happy and cheerful beauties!!! You all matter. ;D Just don't hold too much grudges, hatred, or gossip. It is okay to make mistakes sometimes, as long as we accept and learn from them.
