Room tour!

Okay, it is not actually a room tour, but those are the areas of my room I love. The room was renovated a couple of months ago, and I think I did promise to show how it roughly looks like. Hence, I'm sharing to y'all now!

First person I would like to acknowledge is my dad, followed by my bro who played a minor role in making the room I sketched out alive. Big thanks to them. The interior was sort of designed through my imagination. Honestly, I have a small room, therefore the challenges faced to put everything together without feeling too cramped and all. However, it turned out quite as well as I expected. After all, I don't yearn for a big room either, if its small but cozy, I'm totally cool with it. :)

Room wall color: greenish-blue tone.
Reason: Seriously guys, I've been thinking of the ocean, seas and nature lately. Well, greens and blues bring the calmness in me, and make me drift away. Far away from those that are vibrant, like neon and bright colors. Very good to dream anytime. Speaks my brain sometimes.

Taste: Nature, derpy (hey young at heart), positivity, interests.

Lets start from the left side. That's my "Aspiration/writing/art board". I DIY-ed the part (with a budget). Firstly, I bought some scrapbook papers from a stationary store, four pieces. Proceeded on by purchasing some blue-tacs as well. Double-sided tape could make the walls severely damaged, hence I asked myself "why not give blue-tac a try?" To clear the doubts, it works. At least the items hanging on the wall didn't come falling apart, they are quite secure.

Next, its decoration time! I made use of thread, papers, decorative tapes and leaves (that screams Rain-forest) to simply pasted them however I preferred. Did many try-an-errors before deriving at how I felt was good enough. The section there are always temporary, I guess I will keep switching and experimenting things.

How about that on the right? Some of y'all closer friends might have already seen it before. Yes, they are my inspirational boards. You can purchase them at Daiso - always SGD 2. The only thing quite new, are the little plushy dangling there.

I sort of like the rack, you know. I was thinking whether I should spray paint the metallic part into some 'bronzy' or rose gold. At the moment, no.

Aside from my shower necessities, like the shower cap, bathrobe etc. I tend to put most outerwear, and clothes that could be layered onto the rack. Hehehe and there's my fedora straw hat there.

This is also another part I love! My initial POV; could look out of he windows, and get inspiration or do work with a relaxed mindset and heart. I like the big table from IKEA... it fits a lot. If I took the photo above slightly lower, you will see more cabinets. There are about five compartments. This table is multipurpose though, where projects could be done, and I can carry out my skin regime.

Aha peoples, I don't want to show the entire room, nor explain in the most detailed way possible, cuz' that will take ages!!

Overall, DIYs are fun and affordable, its up to you to stay creative and make it enjoyable. Plan, think out of the box, and act it out. At times when your brain jammed, don't give up! (Me as usual reminding to myself).

Hope you have enjoyed, good day ahead lovelies.
